Nurturing ourselves with creative activities is vital for our life energy, our soul’s expression and our wellbeing. There are so many ways to tap into our creative realm, called by Dr Pinkola Estes (Women Who Run With The Wolves
book) the Chispa which can never be extinguished, although it may become faint, hidden or smothered. She also talks of the creative river, which can stagnate, be dammed up and cease to flow, leading to malaise, depression, fury, and stuck life energy.
To live fully is to recognise that we are all creative beings.
As the evenings lengthen, it can be a good time to turn off the digital devices and listen in to what wants to come forth from our creative life, even if it is a snatched 10 minutes.
Have a look at my programme of activities on offer in the next months, and I will add more information on my website.
